As a prelude, I’d like to express my gratefulness that 2019 was met with great commitment and success. I would like to express my deepest appreciation and congratulations to all Chairmen, Registrar and staff of the Industrial Court of Malaysia (ICM) for their effort and deep commitment to the successful implementation of the ICM Transformation Plan. As a result of the dedicated team spirit, we made significant achievements for ICM and for the Ministry of Human Resources as a whole.
The advent of the new decade in 2020 will certainly bring new challenges to the ICM, especially after the amendments relating to the Industrial Relations Act 1967 have been passed by Parliament. I believe that by adopting a high-performance work culture in fulfilling the trust bestowed upon us and with high integrity, ICM's vision of becoming a responsible body for resolving disputes between employers and employees in creating a harmonious industrial relationship will be attained.
As we usher the new year 2020, may it be welcomed with full enthusiasm and positivity by all ICM staff and our stakeholders so that we gear ourselves for the achievement of Shared Prosperity Vision 2030.
